Out of the blue
A newly hatched butterfly
Landed on my petals
And smiled
Fresh in the world with new life
Floating in the ocean of unknown and unforeseeable
On her way to her esposo
She hung on to me
With pang in her stomach
Head going round and round
She talked and talked
To a stranger
Fumbling for words
Signs and smiles
Became the messenger
She told her life story

Her lip opened like a red carnation
As she said ‘chico caro’
 
Teaching and touching
Sharing and caring for each other
For a moment
Strangers becoming friends
Not to be see each other again
