Grass Flowers
Once I left
The manicured lawns
Shrubs and trees
And landed in the land
Where every thing seems
unkempt, unclean
Wild
I mean
Just natural
Then
I noticed
The flowers on the lawn grasses
And of weeds growing there
Proudly flaunting
Their pollens on the wind
More delicate
Docile
I mean
Just natural
I am embraced by
The rain drops
Slit and snow
Wind soaked with
Either pollens
Or smell of the wild flowers
I am in tryst with
Lofty trees
Demanding attention
Of the higher gods
As I walk on the path
On the meadow
It reminds me
Of my childhood
Not elegant
Not custom made
Just natural.
