An Bird of Paradise
I am colorful
But transient
Like the mural on the sunset sky
I am an offering
Enriching the world
With my endless
Bounty of imagination.
I can do miracles
Once I close my eyes
And peek inside me.
I can
Create an oasis in the heart of all
Filled with snow flakes
Red balloons
Humming birds
Roses on palm trees.
I can make the jealous stars
Feel the mist of the bridal falls
On their skin
Melting like ice cream
In a slithering summer heat.
I can see the impossibility
Lose its teeth
Because
I can imagine
And see the world within me.
