Salmon Run
I put on my rose colored glasses
And swim away
From the winter of discontent
From the snow storms inside my home
From the traffic jam in my career
From the cold rainy evening of existence
To the autumn of self discovery
To enjoy the colors I have inside me
Hidden for ages and ages
I swim away
To the steamy summer days
Of full moon and evening breezes
And pounding waves.
To the spring of my life
When the emotion buds
Start smiling at me
Inside and outside
I swim and swim
Against the rapids of time
To realize all of me.
