Sunrise after the Snowstorm
Sometimes
Snow storm is welcome
After the hollering of the wind makes our gait impossible
After the constant rain of snow shower blinds us
After the shiver from walking in knee deep snow
Freezes out toes
The aftermath is something
Straight from the Garden of Eden
When the sun’s golden ray
Reflects on the now surrendered snow drifts
And we sit with our cups of coffee
Very close to each other
And sip the beauty through our eyes
Without words
Reminding us
The awesome feeling of
Kissing and making it up
After an interlude.
