The Creator and the Creation
The lord of the universe
With open arms and ever open eyes
In a familial space
With the elder brother and the younger sister
With black, white and yellowish faces
As if symbols of the equality of genders and races
Like the sea water inside a miniscule pot dipped in ocean
The lord of the universe remains
Omnipotent and omniscient
Even as an idol
Conceived in a dream, carved from a tree,
Given form and then life
And worshipped
With all the amenities of a super king
But treated as a very familiar human being.
The lord of the inner universe
Prevails in the heart of
Aborigines to the supreme king
High priests to untouchables
A faith, a belief and a bond
Simultaneously
The creator and the creation.
