The Tale of Tails
If you look really hard
Familiar things look unfamiliar
And some thing to look at
And wonder
Why it is there any way?
Like a rabbit’s tail
Tiny, does nothing except covering the rear end
still that is a big deal to rabbit
not to have flies feasting there.
For other mammals
Except man
Tail has a role
Much more than you think
It acts as a fan
To move the breeze around
It can act as a flyswatter
Hitting flies as they annoy them
For lion and cat kids
It is something to practice
Catching preys
Going round and round
To bite it.
For monkeys
Tails are like the swigging ropes
Or
Stabilizers during jump from tree to tree
For these acrobats at high altitudes
Tail for a dog
Is an instant message
Telling you whether you are
In a wrong territory
Or you are its best friend
With the swinging of its tail
Emotion flows
From its heart to yours.
All human beings
Loose their tail bones
Very early in life
But still as we grow
We all enjoy tails
We wish we have tails
Those adore us
Smile at us
And listen to us
And tell us
What can I do without you?
